Riding away~

I have to say, riding my bike everywhere is one of the best things I have ever thought of! I can already feel my muscles are toning and I feel better, PLUS we're not polluting the air as much :) I keep telling Thayne, I will be skinny in no time! Hooray :D

This week's obsession!

So since selling the van we have been borrowing Thayne's Scion to get the kids and I to and from work... I HATE this arangement almost as much as he does! He loves that baby so I have to be super careful and I am always super aware of what the kids are doing, how I'm driving, etc. Anyway, I'm working really hard to save my pennies this summer so I can buy a Chrysler Aspen. I don't want Thayne's help or his money with this cause I want to be a big girl and know I did it by my self! So this week we have been working on our bikes getting them ready for warmer weather so we can use this as transportation :) I'm so excited!!! We all know what a tree huger I can be at times and this makes me sooooo happy!

This is my pride and joy that I worked so hard on! This is my old bike from like 8 years ago and since I'm trying to save my pennies, buying a new one wasn't exactly the smartest thing, sooo,... I refurbished my old one with Zebra Duck Tape! I know, how could I be so smart, right? lol I know it's the trashiest thing I could have ever done but it looks so cool and I'm so excited for it. Brent (my father-in-law) helped me fix my tires on it and gears, thank goodness for him! I will be getting a bike trailer in a couple weeks but Talan is loving this seat for now. I'm so excited to be living greener, saving money AND getting the excersize I need!

Half an update?

One of these days I will do a really good post about everything going on,.. ugh, there is just so much! I wish I would have just kept up on it!!! :) But today you will have to settle for this little tid bit, I quit nannying the begining of March, BEST DECISION EVER!!! I miss the Losser children and Dana terribly but I could not be happier with all the money I'm actually saving! We sold our van, because we really only need it for that job, I can walk to work, the kids don't eat here etc. I am so happy with my decision to go back to the daycare too!
