New Rule~

So since we have moved into this new house we have tried to make small chages to make our family unit run smoother... today I made a rule up. I have decided that once we get home from work there is no TV until after dinner. This means while mom is cooking and doing small chores around the house the kids can either help me or play in their HUGE toy room or read books. Thiago was furious with me. All he wanted to do was play the xbox or watch cartoons! My reasoning behind this? Well since I'm pregnant and very tired all the time all I want to do is lay down on the couch and rest,.. but if I do this, I can never get up until bed time! Also, I refuse to let my kids become "gamers". I want them to have a healthy imagination. They have SO MANY toys and hardly play with them. Although Thiago through his fits I think it was a success. I was able to fold and put away mountains of laundry while cooking dinner, then when Thayne got home from work the kids "helped" him with a few small projects around the house. I think this will be a good change for all of us!

I am really horrible at this whole blogging thing aren't I? Let's see,.. quick update: I don't work at the gas station anymore, still do at the daycare, we're unexpectedly pregnant with baby #3, can't do derby anymore because this blessed miracle, we bought a house.... sold the Scion to save money, work is four houses away so I can walk.... hmmm.... I think those are the big highlights. I hope to get back into blogging! We will see. Hope all is well with everyone else!
