UGH!

So I did the nasty three hour glucose test today,.. I failed AGAIN!!! They poke your finger before you drink this nasty orange drink, it was 80, which is good. After the drink you get your finger poked every hour for three hours. First, 180, way high!!! Second, 141, still high! And third, 114, pretty good. Now I just have to wait and hear back from my Dr to see what she wants me to do. :(

So last night I went and got my one hour glucose test done,.. it came back high. I'm not excited about this at all. Tomorrow I have to go back and get a THREE hour test done, UGH!!! Weekend Bliss~

So after a very long week with my child I really needed a "Grown Up Weekend" and that, is just what I got! Saturday we cleaned a little, then went down to the storage unit to try to find our hair clippers. Thiago and Thayne needed a hair cut so bad they both looked like fluff balls! After ripping everything out of the storage unit and reorganizing, my three week search for the clippers finally came to an end. I was so excited and relieved!!! We came straight home to put them to work :) Saturday evening we had dinner with the in-laws that was so wonderfully delicious (I'm craving left overs right now!) and then headed up to the cabin for the night. It was so nice to let the kids run and play while I caught up with two of my very best friends. Sunday was full of family time, we had a Snow Party at the pasture where Brent and Lori keep their horses. It was so fun to watch Thiago play with all his cousins, ride the horse, sled and just have good red neck fun :) Here are some pics...

A sandwich worth blogging about!

So recently Thayne has been on a Peanut Butter and Fluff kick. If you don't know what fluff is, it's spreadable marshmellow. He's ate them since he was young and I thought he was crazy until I had one. It's not too bad. But I have found something better!!! Peanut Butter, fluff and JELLY!!! Oh my goodness, it's so delicious! The baby made me crave it about a week ago and I haven't had the energy to make it, tonight I finally broke down and made one. It was a party in my mouth!!! It was so creamy and went perfect with my ice cold milk. It tasted like peanut butter and strawberry cream, it was heaven!!!

28 weeks~

So I can't believe I'm already 28 weeks pregnant! This pregnancy has gone by so so so fast. I had my check up today and Dr said everything looks and sounds good. I have only gained 7 lbs the whole pregnancy so I'm super excited about that. After my appointment I went tanning and did a little cardio at the gym. I feel so much better after I work out, although I don't look better :) This is after the gym but wanted to show you all my belly.
If you look right about where my belly button would be is a bump,.. it's not my button! It's a hernia a.k.a. a tummy tuck after I'm done having kids courtesy of insurance!!! :)

2010 is going to be the best!!!

So today we had Sunday Dinner at the in-laws and it was so wonderful and delicious! During dinner the conversation came about how two summers ago Thayne and I had the time of our lives! We went on trips, spent lots of time BBQing with friends and family, went camping and drives up the mountain, just lots of fun stuff. Last summer on the other hand we worked our lives away. It depressed me to think how much we missed out on. So I have come to a conclusion,.. I am going to make a list of things I want to do (not just for the summer but for the whole year) to ensure we have a fantastic year! :) Here's a little bit that I've just thought up...
~hiking the "Y" (I have never done that)
~having a picnic up at Payson Lakes with the whole Clayson side
~river rafting
~camping, lots of it
~quiet walks with the family up Provo Canyon
~Wendover trips with the hubby
~fun filled days at the pool
~weekly dates with hubby

~hiking
~kid movies at the theatre
~tennis with the girls
~7-peaks
~dinner parties with friends
~taking a trip to Pennsylvania
and last but not least...
~DISNEYLAND for Thiago's birthday!!!!
Mind you, this is just the beginners list. I'm determined to make this year as active and amazing as possible. With great friends and family that are positive influences on me :)

So there is nothing I love more than getting a bargain! Tonight I did a little shopping on my break and found a maternity shirt for $3.99, a pair of capris for $2.79 and a nursing bra marked at $9.99. When I went to pay for it all the shirt and capris rang up as marked but the bra rang in at $2.70. Yes, two dollars and seventy cents!!!!!!! I was so thrilled I went and grabbed another one. I bought the last two in the whole store. $9.99 was a good deal to begin with but $2.70? I just call that a STEAL! :)

After much thought, planning and debating I've decided my living room will one day have these two pieces filling it (hopefully that day will be sooner than later!). What do you think?

Boy Oh Boy!

So this week back at work has been super fun. I get to play and hold Brooklyn all day and get my groove back before my baby is here. Thiago LOVES Brooklyn so much that he asks me if he can hold her every five minutes (it's starting to go from cute to annoying real quick!).
So I'm posting this blog to inform you on all the wild things my child does EVERYDAY!!! He refuses to take naps now after lunch like he has always done, no,.. now he waits to take a nap for when we're driving home from Dana's at 3:30 or 4 and stays asleep most of the evening. Yes, i'm a bad mom and let him sleep because by this time I need quiet time to say the least (He's still been pretty good about going to bed between 9 and 10).
So he has been on this wrestling kick lately. I told Gage that if he doesn't want to wrestle with Thiago to ask him nicely to stop and if he still keeps going that Gage can make the wrestle hurt so Thiago won't want to do it anymore. This worked for maybe,... two days, MAX! My kid is so stubborn that all day he complains about how Gage hurt him, I ask.. "Did you hurt him firts?" His reply never changes "NO!". I'm glad I can trust Gage to tell me the truth and I just shrug my shoulders and tell him if he doesn't want to get hurt to not rough play, this response is never good enough because 5 minutes later he's complaining about another injury!
Yesterday was a kicker! We were getting ready to leave Dana's when he ran outside with MY shoes on and no coat or anything! As I scrambled to gather our things he honked the horn, not once or twice but for long moments at a time and continued to do this for a few minutes. I thought I was going to loose my head trying to hurry so I could make him stop! Then, the honking stopped,... moments later he opened the front door with red blood (as it appeared) smeared accross his face and dripping from both hands. I instantly threw all my things down and ran to him. He was laughing!!!! It took me a few moments to realize it wasn't real blood, it was his vampire make up from last Halloween. Whew! What a relief! I was almost in tears mortified that something had gone terribly wrong and there he was laughing at me. Not just a giggle but histeracly laughing at the fact that he had scared me!!!
This is my child. My sweet, innocent, precious baby boy has grown into a little terror! And I'm having another boy? Really???

I have been so out of the loop for the past month!!! Everything is finally settleting down and getting back on my normal routine.

ok,.. so my life isn't as interesting as I thought :)

I am so excited for this new year! I think 2010 will be a great year, anything will be better the this last year!!!! I going to make the best of everything that comes my way, that is my resolution!
