Happy Memorial Day!!!

So this weekend was pretty laid back. On Saturday Thiago and I went down to the lake, then to the park (twice!), went for a drive,.. oh and when we got home Thiago had a tick on him! It was pretty scary! I was freaking out so he was freaking out,.. Thayne and I had to hold him down while I was on the phone with Ally as she guided me on how to remove it. It was gross!!! Then Sunday, we all went to church, did a little shopping, came home and took naps then we took Gordo to a dog park. It was a pretty good day. So today we so far have gone to Savers (my new favorite poor store!) and bought me two pairs of pants for work (for only $4.50 for both of them! SCORE!!!) and now Thiago and I are going to some kind of beach of some sort with the girls. :) I'll take some pictures! I hope you all have a great day!!!!

Blessings, blessings, blessings

So I have been trying to stay positive about everything,.. it's been super hard. I don't like being away from my family and friends. I miss my work at the daycare, my Marli, everyone I worked with, my house, and my kitty. Anyway,.. I pray and pray and get desperate but it seems everytime I feel so helpless and feel like giving up Heavenly Father gives me a little miracle to keep going. I have been blessed this week with being able to put a little gas in my car, finding a reliable sitter, and starting my new job. I am truly blessed and am so grateful for my friends here that listen to me complain and help me as much as they are able.

Prayer works!

So I have been super bad about not going to church or praying. This summer my personal goal is to make it to church every Sunday and to grow a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father.
As you all know, we moved to Minnesota for the summer and it was super expensive. Even though Pinnacle paid for our furnished apartment and what not it's taken a toll on our bank account. So we have been stressing about saving the rest of what we do have until Thayne can get his sales going and I can get a job. Well this weekend I went to church and I have been praying really hard. Knowing that you shouldn't only pray when you need blessings but hoping our Heavenly Father knew it was sincere. I have applied at a lot of places and no one really seems to be hiring. :( So I had an interview at Sears on Wed and it was just part time cashiering they needed but I figured the heck with it I need a job! So I went in and was talking to the guy that was doing the interview and here walks in a lady and sits down at her desk. Matt kept interviewing me and this lady, Sarah, i think, turns around and starts asking me about my experience. Well long story short she was needing someone full time in her department and I guess it's super hard to get hired in there cause the turn over rate is so low, but thanks to our Father in Heaven I was in the right place at the right time and they offered me the job today!!! I'm so excited and so greatful! This is proof to me that He is listening and truly cares~

Happy Mothers Day!

So Happy Day to all you Mothers! I had such a great day!! Thiago and I went to church this morning, came home, had lunch and then went on an adventure! First we went downtown close to the airport and pulled off so we could watch the planes come and go. It was Amazing! The planes came so low and close to us, Thiago was loving it! Then we headed to Minihaha Park. It was so gorgeous!!! We walked around the trails and took lots of pictures. I feel like such a turist ;) I am so lucky to be married to my best friend and have such a cute little boy. I'm truly grateful for all the love in my life.

Kicking the habbit~

So as you've read in January through February I stopped drinking soda and lost some weight,.. well I've been slacking super bad since and have justified all the soda drinking again. Well I decided that I'm done! (once again) Of course I couldn't quit before the move because I knew that I had to stay awake through the whole drive. So after my high of drinking soda's, energy shots and rockstars was gone I wanted to be done! No such luck!!! I went through three days of headaches and migranes before I couldn't handle it anymore. I wasn't getting any sleep cause my head hurt so bad, my muscles in my neck and shoulders were so tense,.. UGH! How can something so delicious be so bad for you? So yesterday morning before Thayne went to work I ran down to the gas station, bought me a 1 liter and took an IB 800. There,.. at last,.. the headache went away. I only drank half of the 1 liter of Mt. Dew hoping I wouldn't need to drink the rest and so far so good! I am hoping very badly that the addiction is under control. So goodbye my delicious fuzzy drinks,.. I will have you no more because you make me FAT!!!

23 Hour Drive~

Hi friends! After a very LONG drive we are in Minnesota safe and happy. We love it here! It's so peaceful and pretty. Yesterday Thiago and I went for a walk to explore and found the lake in our back yard. There were all sorts of wild animals, tree's everywhere and birds you can hear singing constantly. I think we're really going to be happy here.
The apartment is bigger than I imangined and because we didnt bring all of our own furnishings it seems bigger.
