Finding a babysitter~

Oh my heck! Finding a babysitter is so much harder than I thought!!! So our family has always watched Thiago when we work or have a date night or something but lately it hasn't all been working out. So we have decided to find a babysitter for him so he can have some sort of stability and we don't have to pawn him off on any of the family. I have such a hard time trusting just anyone with my handsome little guy! So we posted an ad on KSL and Craigslist and thought we would have a few to choose from,... well there has been a couple of people that have answered but for some reason or another I don't feel them qualified. SPELLING! Spelling is a big thing for me. I know I'm not the best speller but there was this one lady who emailed me and spelled like every other word wrong, what does that say about the woman? UGH! Maybe I'm just too picky! Anyway, here's the ad.

My husband and I both work two jobs. I am with my son all day but I work very part time at night and need to find a sitter for the nights my husband and I both have to work. Generally the times will be one or two nights a week from 5:45pm until 10:45pm. but I would also like someone who is availible to watch him once in a while on a weekend so my husband and I can go on a date. I need someone with other kids around his age (2 and a 1/2) and someone who will interact with him and play with him and not let him watch t.v. all night. He is very smart and almost completely potty trained. I am willing to pay $2.00/hr at first and see how it goes. If I feel you are doing a good job and he is learning from his time with you I will bump it up to $3.00/hr. I prefer someone who speaks Spanish all the time in their home and require refrences. If you feel like you are the right care giver for my wonderful little boy please shoot me an email telling about yourself, experience and refrences.

Now is that too much to ask for? I just want to find a sitter who is stable and somewhere I know Thiago is having fun and being played with. Let me know what you all think!

Friday the 13th~

Ya so I pretty much have the cutest class in the whole daycare!!! I love these kids so much! We took these pictures for their parents Valentines Day cards, I think they turned out so cute!!! Of course I had to take a couple extras of my favorites Marli and Merik :)
I was so happy I happend to have my camera ready for this one. She was running to me with a kissy face. It was so adorable because she just learned how to do this. Oh how I love her!

The Scale~

So today I went to the doctors office to weigh myself,.. I didn't want to be dissapointed so I kept telling myself even if I only lost 5 lbs. I would be happy. I LOST 12 LBS!!!! I am so happy right now. I know that's not a lot but it feels good to know that all my hard work is paying off!

Downer~

This morning I'm pretty down :( We went to bed super late and I woke up with a massive head ache, then I looked at the blog of the little girl's family we were suppose to adopt. I miss Oaklee like crazy because for few weeks I thought for sure she was going to be mine. I shouldn't have gotten so attached. In the end the mom and her parents decided to give her to a family member. I know she is happy and that she was meant for them but I can't help but feel she's still a part of me. I imagined Thiago and Oaklee growing up together, I convinced myself that she was the reason we hadn't gotten pregnant after trying for so long, I thought she was meant to be ours.

Anyway, here is the family blog if you guys want to see her. She's grown so much in just the two months I haven't seen her. P.S. They changed her name! :(

My Happy Sunday~

We were invited to go to the Mayan with a ton of people, neither of us had been there so we were super excited! It was so delicious! Oh my heck! I loved it in there!!! But the service was HORRIBLE!!! After we went to Thayne's parents for the Super Bowl. We had an awesome day! I love days like this!!! I didn't take as many pictures as I had planned but here's some!
